FSR 3.1 is upscalling while acting like a frame generator for older gpus
AMD adrenaline software got AFMF 2 which literally say "AMD fluid motion frame 2 is a frame generation technology"
It's not a frame generator by that factor but it's a frame generator for GPU that can't use DLSS.
When most AMD cards got AFMF 2 instead
FSR 3 was activated to be used for all cards AMD and Nvidia, DLSS 1 which 20 series use suck, i had 2070 super before i got my 7900 XTX
Edit: giving clown awards won't prove your point lol, thanks for the points tho
even on a 4080 Super DLAA at 4K is sometimes out of reach. balanced DLSS in ark looks pretty damned good at 4k being upscaled.
UE is ruining games but not for the reasons most people cite, for me its pop in and other BS like seeing a clear line of where the grass stops rendering (not talking about in ark, but other UE games) I haven't played in awhile so it could still be applicable to ark.
2024 1450 CDN video card that still has pop in, I would honestly settle for 75 fps in 4K balanced DLSS with frame gen IF POP IN NEVER OCCURED across all the newer games.
and no I'm also not talking about streaming textures pop in, or LOD switching - I'm talking take 1 step see grass or bushes/trees pop into existence, take 1 step back and watch them pop back out of existence.
it never gets talked about much but often consoles have less pop in (because of their architecture) when I compare between 2 games, something that people don't mention or notice I guess?
