RTX 4070 no FRAME GENERATION available

I can't see the option to enable the frame generation even that I do have GPU capable to do that (CYBERPUNK 2077 Dying Light 2 works fine) - - anyone have any ideas how to solve that?

They removed DLSS FG from the game a couple of month ago and forced garbage FSR3 Lag Generation. That's why i stopped playing after 100 hours of smooth gameplay and deleted the game until DLSS FG is back.

The fact you need DLSS to begin with, with a 4070, tells everything I need to know on how poorly optimized this still is, unless you're playing at 4K res ultra settings?

FSR 3 isn't frame gen you goof, AFMF 2 is AMDs Frame generation which is actually quite good with the right settings in mind.

To add more FSR 3 can be used with older GPU from both AMD and Nvidia, unlike DLSS which only works with certain 20 series cards, but mostly only work with 30 series (DLSS 2) and 40 series (DLSS 3)

Nvidia locking it behind expensive equipment but AMD having it open sourced.

Instead of being a nvidia fanboy you should re-educate yourself for why FSR isn't "Garbage"

This is coming from a person that went from nvidia to AMD just recently.
Nvidia DLSS isn't worth the price they charge.

Plus i don't need frame gen to play this game, i disabled it.

Unfortunately what are you saying its not true I was testing the FSR 3 in Cyberpunk 2077 on my brother in law RTX 3070 and its was awful,so I think Ragnar might be right but even if he is not I STILL DO NOT HAVE OPTION to enable any FRAMEGEN even the AMD FSR.

You don't understand and won't even try to understand FSR is NOT a FRAME GENERATION, DLSS is NEITHER a frame generation.

DLSS is stronger but FSR 3/3.1 can be used on gpu like 1080 ti but DLSS can't be used with that card.

As for enable frame gen only AMD cards support it with AFMF 2 [Amd fluid motion frame 2]

I mainly play singleplayer but i also have a problem, my game looks bad especially the distant objects, i alao have everything epic, i play on rtx 4080 super and ryzen 7 9700x, do you anything i can do?

There is a settings in graphics called HLOD check if thats on or off.
If it is ON then your quality in the distance will look bad but it will give better performance.
If it is OFF then your quality in the distance will look better but reduce performance.

i have it off but they still look blurry and nowhere close to what i see on youtube, maybe its just me but i dont think so

Only thing i could recommend is trying to verify game files or reinstalling the game if you don't have it on a SSD preferably on a M.2 SSD.

This sounds like a texture streaming load issue, storage can't read the files faster then the game loads.

More reading speed on a SSD is always good, can help with tiny problems like stutter or texture loading faster

i have it installed on an samsung 990 pro m.2 i will try to verify game files if it doesnt work than i will reinstall it and if this still doesnt work then idk what i should do, especially when i saw a vid from ark ascended on ps5 pro and i think it looks 10 times better than mine. Thanks anyway i will let you know if i resolve anything

What are you even talking about? Fsr 3.1 has Frame Generation that can be used with DLSS. People with 2 and 3000 series Nvidia cards can use Dlss and turn on AMD Frame gen with it. The game has to have FSR 3.1 though. I'm using it in Stalker 2 right now with a 2080ti.
