Still, some little bugs here and there, and ASA needs a bit better hardware then ASE - but overall I find it way better then the 'old' version. Experiances may vary if you have a potato pc.
ARK 2 (Vin Diesel's version) is still in the dark. Nobody can find any info on if they still working on it or when (count years?) it will be released.
If ASE is still kicking when ARK2 will be released, there will be 3 versions. Altough I have doubts about ARK2 ever will be released at this point.
Personally, I also find ASA to be better than ASE, but there are definite stability issues that need to be addressed. Crashes are neither common nor uncommon, so save frequently to prevent data loss. Sometime something as simple as mounting a Dino seems to trigger a crash, but not every time. More often than not, one can mount a Dino without issues. There's just no way to predict.
