Server rental recommendations please
I see a lot of concerns about Nitrado and wonder if there is another service someone has experience with that may be better. Thanks!

Roll your own. Costs more up front but way better performance.

Nitrado is contractually the only rental service for ASA. The way around this is to rent server space (VPS) but then you have to config everything by hand the same as if you owned the hardware. This will be about 350-400 a month to rent roughly a desktop computer (Ryzen 7950x, ram etc)... In less than a year renting you could have just built the hardware yourself.

I speak from experience and hosting for 2+ years. I ended up just building a custom server for $29,000 for long term hosting to avoid the high monthly costs.
