If you want a game that is purely about actual dinosaurs that existed, ARK is not and never was the game you want. It has always been more than just actual dinosaurs since the very start.

Well to be fair they seem weak as hell specialy since they always come in at lvl 1 post tame or something =(

They'll grab as much cash as they can off this ridiculously genre-breaking nag and then, a few months down the line, it will be nerfed into uselessness. We have seen this already with the Pyromane!! Surely nobody is stupid enough to buy this, based on past evidence... Sadly, we all know there are LOADS of people stupid enough to buy it. Never mind, think how funny it will be, seeing their comments when it gets the Nerf Hammer. 😄

To be fair, it's cheap to buy, and it looks cool, but creatures like this just don't fit in a dinosaur game. Even Wyverns are pushing it in my opinion, but that's just me.

Yes, yes, we all know that, duh. Dinosaurs that existed in different eras entirely, some that never existed but were bio-engineered by Ark scientists, but at least the bio-engineering 'explanation' was a nod towards suspension of disbelief. Creatures that belong in a Fantasy game are just too jarring to me. If it floats anyone else's boat, that's fine.

Oh, and I actually DO play The Isle and Path of Titans, plus a few other dino-themed games.

Fantasy creatures have always existed in this game; dragon, giant monkey, broodmother, manticore, unicorn, griffin, wyverns, etc.

If you don't like the fantasy creatures then you can just say so and there's nothing wrong with that but saying that they don't fit in this game is absolutely absurd, as is calling ARK just a "dinosaur game".
ARK has always had mythological creatures whether you like it or not, this isn't something that only started with the pyromane and now the dreadmare. It was always like this from the very start.

If you only want dinosaurs/creatures that actually existed, ARK was never and will never be the game you want.

But, you forgot some; Shadowmane, Reapers, Basilisk, Bloodstalker, Featherlight, Bulbdog, Glowtail, Ferox, Gasbag, Magmasaur, Rock Elemental, Seeker, Shinehorn, Yeti, Titans, Gacha, Managarmr, Rock Drake, Astrocetus, Astrodelphis, Noglin, Voidwyrm, not to mention Tek Dinos, Tek Stryder, and being able to fly around like Iron Man.

No no, they're totally right though, we should ONLY have creatures that once existed be put into a game that is about ALIENS that come down and suck up all the people's DNA on the earth and put them in giant Vivariums and brings them back to life over and over again. Co-existing with dinos, something which never happened in "reality". Yeah, that's totally realistic.

But...anywayyyy.....I think the Dreadmare is absolutely amazing looking. I really don't care if it's weak or nerfed, it is incredible looking. And that's a lot of the reason we play games. Yes, remember, it's just a game. And people can spend they're money on whatever they want to. Regardless of the politics.

My point is,that other then being able to kill the fantastic tame theme critters,you have to pay $ to interact with them,therefor its a gimmick.

Turn off creative mode and then they will not come out at level 1.
