Scorched earth much easier than ASE

Does anyone else think that Scorched Earth is much easier now compared to ASE? There seems to be much more water, more resources, and cooler temperatures. I remember when I played on ASE, it was almost always 100-115 degrees with few areas having comfortable temperatures. Don't get me wrong, there are still areas with extreme temperatures, but it feels like the map has turned into more of an oasis compared to a barren wasteland.

ASA SE TODAY with the qol that ASA has over ASE (cryos, various tames, bobs tall tales, etc) yeah its easier. But when ASA SE was released it was much harder than ASE ever was due to insane temeperatures, potentially no cooldowns between weather events, and the same weather events happening back to back. There is nothing a lvl 1 bob can do to survive 3 superheats that have no break in between.

These have been patched out now, and in fact weather is more tame than its ever been in SE. Because Super heats cannot be back to back, its much harder to tame a phoenix now (harder in the sense of time commitment and luck).

And wells are still broken last i checked due to the new plumbing system. if you drain a well from using a remote water fixture like a cooker or water tap, the well breaks. it doesnt replenish as it should. if you have bobs tall tales the massive water reservoir makes this irrelevant, but all the water springs on the map are next to useless now.

SE ends when you get your first wyvern. And yeah, its much more easy. Cant even find a good Rex or Yuty there are so little of them... Top rex i ever found was 100lvl... ((((

Old ark was just over all so much more difficult. Remember how fall damage was much more inconsistent on there and you could take 2 zillion damage from falling off a 10ft high rock, also if you think about just official, old ark official gather rate tame rate xp rate is half what 1x is on asa, or something close to that. It used to take 2x as long to do just about anything, as well as they didnt start doing event weekends for quite a long time on ark either. cryos didnt exist, as well as the death clipping was far worse on initial ase se, where if you die you had a 1/5 chance your body would vanish into the mesh or spaz out into oblivion. The food and water drain honestly feel less than they used to be as well, as I remember just being permanently out of food or water on old ark, and insulation also seems to perform better too.
