This is just a bad, greedy port to UE5 lol
Not everyone has high-end GPUs to play ASA. Combined with the P2W DLC, crashing and general bugs and issues, it's no surprise ASE has more players.
That all isn't even considering how terrible the modding system is and how lackluster the mods are.
Intel i7-13700K
MSI GeForce RTX 4080
32GB Corsair DDR5 RAM
2TB M.2 SSD
Ark: Survival Ascended on all Ultra/High Settings at 1440p Resolution and 144Hz. Video game runs perfectly without a single solitary hiccup. Looks beautiful and runs smooth as butter. Phenomenal upgrade and highly recommended.
This game deserves to have less players than ASE lmfao
The game has become better than it was at launch. those who cant run it and are having issues, just wont take advice.
I would rather take his advice than yours.
Hours means NOTHING.
You could use the arguement "You played this game for 500 hours why do you complain you seem to enjoy it"
Honestly they should have a low end launch option like they did in ark survival evolved imo.
But its okay the few remaining clowns would tell you,
"trust me bro, once the ASA content drops, things will change."
First it was the only 1 map excuse, then was SE is boring we already beat it, Center drops still underperforms compared to ASE.
ASE peaked at 41k on steam alone few days ago, while our shinny turd is consistently under 20k in the low 10k's.
The only people who benefited from ASA were the console players enjoying finaly mods, everyone else moved on, player counts show it.
Play whatever you like, just stop trying to convince everyone else that ASA is in bad shape because of lack of content, that's just objectively false statement.
That is one tiny drop in the pool of issues that dragged ASA down.

I have seen a lot of games that have purchases not through steam once you own the game so I don't think that will be an issue at all.
While I don't fully agree with everything that Wildcard has done with ASA, I still think ASA is superior in almost every way except content to ASE. I honestly feel once Ragnarok and more of the maps are added and the Unreal Engine 5.4 update are both in the game that more players will start playing it. That is also assuming that the Unreal Engine 5.4 update helps the game as much as it is being played up which I honestly hope it does.
I honestly can't wait to see what the Unreal Engine update actually does improve the game for all of us but we will have to wait and see. I am more excited about that than Aberration honestly.
Its a good question my son, i think its because UE5 need a good PC and the performance in UE5 are bad in generality its a fact, a lot talk of mods but me i prefer play Ark in vanilla like in official for exemple, In Ark 1 he have a lot of server empty and i cant understand why guy pay for empty server its just stupid ! 95% of all server are empty or like 1 player (the admin) who just whait a guy for cheat LOL, Official is better, For me now Ark ASA is better
I've got better things to do than waiting, crashing, and dia showing my life away.
Even if it does we still have a year or longer for all the remaining maps.
ASA is hurting bad atm and the devs know it
