Max Rex after patch?

After patching the server and going Live we have found an unusual amount of lvl 150 wild rex's all over the map today. At first we thought every spawn was broken and stuck at max. Server wide we have tamed 18 and the tribes are still looking.
Anyone else having this double-edged Joy?

The only mods we run are the Xmas Winter wonderland, and Pelayori's Cryo Storage.
