however just so you know they added "skinny pillar" option when you place pillars now
just like when you place walls you can switch between wall/doorway/secret door/etc
you can switch to "skinny pillar" when you place pillars now
Looking at the video it seems to be the wooden skinny pillar(4 options of pillars. Normal/Skinny vertical pillar, Sideways Normal/Skinny pillar ), im not sure if a skin is applied as i havent placed many of those *(i mostly use the metal skinny to reinforce my wood and stone structures in case of "catastrophic foundation failure". skinny does the same job to frame a building but not an eyesore)
that is what i use to build is metal skinny pillar with bob's tall tales wood skin applied
so that's likely what it is
The thin pillars are normal pillars, there's 4 different versions of the regular pillar (2 thick and 2 thin, horizontal and vertical) You change what type of pillar with R. After placing the thin pillar without being skinned, you apply the skin.
The roofs look like they used ramps and then quarter walls under the ramp, and then painting them. Hope it makes sense!
I was using the arkitect pillars and it just kept giving me the fat skin no matter which variant I used
Do any of yall know what the roofs are?
It's kind of hard to see if you haven't used those parts and skinned them before, especially since they're painted black. Took me a few rewinds on the video to figure out exactly what they used. And tbh I'm not sure I'm fully correct, but it looks like ramps and quarter walls :)
its crafted in the cook-pot and cooker with oil and poly and water.
**Edit. It is always known in the crafting station. Deleted the unnecessary extra bits. =)
Thank you!!
also, no worries. ive made more than my own share of facepalm moments hehe =)
