Some games can run with specs lower than the suggested specs, but I doubt ASA is one of them, it's probably not going to work.

I don't recommend it... ASA needs the most powerful PC possible, to get the most out of it.

Youre not running it on 8 Gigs sorry, Your windows alone requires 2, so its 6 and it needs 8-10 MINIMUM, Upgrade to 16 for less than 50 bucks or up to 32 for less than 125 from newegg. Ram is cheap and if thats your only bottleneck upgrade before buying ASA.

The speed of your ram has very little to do with memory bottleneck issue youd have by only using 8gb. You will have very low framerate, possibly capped at 18-30fps and lots of stuttering, pausing or crashing. Even if you have nvme storage in raid 0 to use as a page file you will have horrible issues. Honestly 16gb is the minimum for vanilla ark, and i have seen my pc using 26gb of 32gb at times. So i would recommend at least getting 32 gb as i may upgrade to 64gb in the future.

get 32 gigs, install the game on the fastest SSD/NVME your system can handle.

Pull you're memory out , goto bestbuy / local pc store , see if they can match it..double you're mem to 16 . I'd recommend 32 , so 2 x 16 meg sticks since you want to always run mem in pairs...if you're pc can run a ssd I recommend grabbing one of those too. Seagate or samsung would be best , doesnt have to be huge , a 1 tb would be fine , in total you'd be out maybe 300 bucs.
