Ark 2 was and is announced a Single Player RPG with an end. It is not a Survival Game.
If you're not purchasing this game because you're waiting for Ark 2 and thinkin' it will replace this, you're mistaken. They are two different genres entirely and will not replace one another.
Hey there!
There's a large misconception around the funding. Nitrado got exclusive rights to Ark's Servers because they bailed Studio Wildcard out of bankruptcy in exchange for those rights.
Nitrado provided Snail/Wildcard $5,000,000 to finish Ark: Survival Ascended and Ark 2 and in return they got exclusive hosting rights.
Ark: Survival Evolved, Ark: Survival Ascended, and Ark 2 are only here because of Nitrado. Even though all the players love to whine and cry about Nitrado, they are the single only reason Studio Wildcard and Snail Games are still in business today. So be sure to thank them.
Given the above information, they have plenty of funding to finish Ark 2, as it was provided by Nitrado and is very well documented. Ark 2 will come to fruition.
ark 2 isnt gonna make him as much money as ark asa mods.
he already forgot about ark 2 lol..
The name of the electric car company you're attempting to be knowledgeable on is called IndiEV. They are not affiliated or owned by Studio Wildcard in any way, shape, nor form.
IndiEV is owned by Snail Game's CEO - Shi Hai. While they are the parent company of Studio Wildcard now, they are not the "idiot owner of this game". Their interests are simply buying up Developers to benefit from their sales.
Lastly, as I stated in my above reply. Nitrado Server Hosting bailed them out bankruptcy in exchange for exclusive rights and finishing Ark: Survival Ascended and Ark 2. They must finish them according to their bailout contract with Nitrado. So even if Shi Hai "forgot about Ark 2 lol..." It doesn't matter, they're now legally obligated to do so. Period.
The upside is that now we can't find ♥♥♥♥ in the tall grass!!!!
there is a fix for it grass.sizeScale 0
check the review on my profile for more helpful commands ^@^
None of what ypu just rambled about negates any part of my statement lmao
Yes, it does sir.
Please read and I quote:
"It doesn't matter, they're now legally obligated to do so. Period."
I may not be the best at basic English language here, but I'm quite certain that negates the entire premise of your argument, in which was "he already forgot about ark 2 lol". Doesn't matter if he forgot, it is required by a legally binding contract to be developed and published.
Edit: Just noticed that igot2cats had never posted here, yet referred to Full Bars' comment as his own statement. That's interesting.
Do you have proof of that contract? Would love to see it. Not to mention, if Wild Card goes under they won't be able to develop the game. Plenty of companies go under and can't make up the funding they received by investors. If people keep buying the DLC, it'll probably be okay though.
LOL this guy is the Ark champion. Idiot.
The entire argument is out the window in 180 days of Snails sock being flushed down the economic toilet. Funding doesn't really matter. The only way they can get funding to bring their broke ass out of being wiped out from the stock market is to sell ASA and Ark 2 rights completely. They have no other assets. What does that mean? 1 of 2 outcomes
1. They sell off ASA and Ark IPs to another developer (yes, they OWN Wildcard, not just the publisher) and someone else picks it up (Maybe Microsoft?)
2. They let Snail collapse and ASA and Ark 2 just disappear like ASE servers.
Every single point outside of "we have no idea" is a guess. No one knows. The simple fact to Ark and WildCards future rests totally in the stocks of Snail as well as how they decide to handle it. Snail BOUGHT WildCard back in 2015. Its how Snail made all the spin-offs no one played. "WildCards" status means nothing without directly discussing Snails status. So yes, 100% the OWNER of Wildcard (Snail USA) did piss away the entire funding on a crappy EV company that has 100% FAILED before it even launched. No company is obligated legally to produce anything, ever, for any reason. You can be financially obligated, but, thats null once you go tits up financially.
I'll not be engaging with a child callin' people "idiot" and throwing around insults over a video game product.
Have a safe and wonderful day! Enjoy yourselves!
