increase the amount of tribe/personal tames on a nitrado server ?.

Me and my brother are playing and we'd like to raise the personal/tribe tame cap without making seperate tribes and then doing an alliance thing.

what i did for my server, is set all the settings i want in single player, then simply copy paste the variables i want from the ini file. there's a few extra not in the default options, you can search those in the wiki

In general settings, bottom of the page, there's a "taming" section, first one is how many tames allowed (doesn't specify if that's allowed per player or in total on server though)
Mine is set to 5000. Try changing those numbers and see if it helps in any way.

it's 5k , we tried upping it to 10k but we're still stuck at the 250 cap , there's only one setting we can actually change from what we can tell.

O , the cap we're actually hitting is tribe limit , not per person. I set up our kibble farm this morning , 1 male/3 females per kibble , so it's not like I went crazy with it , then he's in the middle of taming pets to add colors to our bloodlines and BAM we both get the msg that we're at 251 of 250 allowed.

urgh, just saw I'm at 147 of 250, never reflected over that since I kept seeing 5k in settings.
Time to stop stealing babies and just set them all free, let rest of my tribe get a chance to tame some dinos too lol

Nope , didn't work , he changed the files myst had us look up , added the 2 lines to both player.ini and gamesetting.ini and still stuck at 250..

SO , we're basically lost at this point on how to up the tribe limit.
Thinking tomarrow we'll just split into 2 tribes and alliance them to fix this.

to GUS worked. (under [ServerSettings]; don't put it at the end of the file)

I'm addicted to stealing babies from their dead parents (absolutely not dead by my hand, promise) so upping the limit will be needed very soon.

There should be an option to release in to the wild instead of just unclaiming.

We're notting a personal limit , we're hitting the tribe limit of 250 , changing this fixes that?

+Yes, it's the tribe limit that is 50000 now, barely fits on the screen numbers with all the rest.
