Anyone else got weird lighting effects since patch?

The lighting seems really weird and the trees are all flickering no matter what setting I change, anyone else experiencing anything similar or have any suggestions?

I don't have the lighting glitch but I do see really pixelated flickering clouds now. They didn't do that before the patch.

From my testing, I think the weird flickering trees effect is related to the mysterious "Advanced Graphics" setting. I believe it's meant to simulate lighting in forests with some light seeping through the canopy. Oddly, setting this to "Epic" reportedly improves performance, and I certainly don't notice a performance hit with it on Epic. The foliage flickering looks more intentional on this setting and less like a glitch.

I think the flickering clouds are due to using Super Resolution. For me, anything less than Balanced will give very noticeable flickering of the clouds. On Balanced, I don't find it highly noticeable, on Quality it seems to disappear completely for me.

Yeah the lighting is all weird now, got this weird blue haze too and FPS has dropped significantly

Glad its not just me, game suddenly sends my fans into overdrive too now and seems less optimised than it was before.

It sucks that wildcard can never get a patch right

Maybe it's silly but why not? I saw you tried to change your settings but did you try "reset all graphics settings" (don't sure about the exact translation in English, in game), save and start again from the beggining? (graphic settings speaking)

Yeah Ive tried everything I can possibly think of but thanks for your suggestion, hoping for a hotfix because its not very pleasant playing it in this state, I just bought it on ps5 too so hopefully its a bit better on there until they sort this one out

I had the reverse effect, my clouds were much less pixelated than before. but on release i did had "disco forest" and increasing my global illumination and shadows to high setting helped.
maybe check if dlss settings changed with the last patch?

Unfortunately nothing Im doing is helping and my gpu is also a higher temperature than pre patch. Ive also noticed inconsistent framerates too and my fans sound like the pc is about to explode.

Hopefully a hotfix soon ive seen a few other similar complaints in the forum

Lights and shadows begin to flicker for me after diving into the water. Just surfaced and the flickering begins. The graphics are all epic. And again crashes with a fatal error. 4070TI.

same thing for me, I cannot even play when I first logged in, it crashed every 5-10 minutes, then I switch DLSS to FSR, it is not crashing now but the fan seems gonna explode,,,
