Heat stroke glitchy

Got heat stroke, and I havent played scorched in a minute. So looked up how to get rid of it. Said online to put water in a fridge to get ice water and stay indoors. So took military grade canteen and put it in fridge to get ice water and stood inside my adobe house which has ACs built under 4 ceiling pieces in one section of my house. For 2 whole real life hours, the affect did not go away. I was busy doing real life stuff near my desk so wasnt in a rush but by the time i came back I was shocked to see it was still going on since most forums stated to just drink ice water, stand inside (tent or adobe house) and should take care of it after a bit.

Friend reminded me, disconnect then join server again. Hate to say Scorched is buggy but it is buggy. No surprise. Wanted to at least post it here if it helps someone else. After disconnect and coming back in of course then it magically went away -_-

Also bug didnt happen after being on for soo long. I know online games run risk of issues sometimes when you have been in game for a long period of time. I hopped in, addressed issue, and left game sitting in hopes affect would go away and it wouldnt till I just disconnected.

Same thing here, heat stroke seems to only apply when you're offline and only gets removed when you're offline.

Really if it is as working as intended, I still don't like the concept of things like the heat wave.
Any mechanic that's designed to make the player stop playing the game and just sit around for 10 minutes is a bad mechanic. Wildcard never understood that.
