Dedicated Server help

Hello, so I've just recently set up my own dedicated server to run. Followed a video to get everything straightened away, ports are all open, etc. but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get my server to show up in the server list? I had my friend join into the server with the entire "open xxx/xx/xx/x:7777" thing from the menu and they were able to join, but I have to be missing something since it's not showing up in the player servers? If someone could help point me in the right direction or knows of a guide i may have missed?

your bat looks fine what does the server show when it is on your screen i.e does it have bottom lsft text saying ticking loop with a green circle also on top line should show server info with how much mem it is consuming.. if it sayings booting and stays booting then it is not up yet. are you sure you are port forwarded?

hmm not convinced serveradminpassword=blahblah? should be written that way think to try -ServerAdminPassword=blahblah make sure you have a space before the minus sign

yes green circle and ticking loop. i will try moving the pass around

No, just SE for now until i figure everything out then I planned on adding island

did you get a firewall warning to allow server through firewall ? i always do when i have created over 40 servers till now have to click it twice to allow if unsure change ports to 27016 and 7779 also find gameusersettings.ini and scroll down untill you also see ports there and cgange them to same as above server has to be shut down to alter ini as if not server will overwrite it... i hopw you will see a firewall popup by doing this but make sure thse ports are forwarded you can set a range in the router thus 27015-27030 7777-7800 etc

I haven't gotten a warning from the firewall, but i did what the video told me to do to make sure the firewall allowed those ports through, uhm. i can try changing ports and see how that goes.
