While you might not have any friends currently playing this, there are many thriving communities that play on Unofficial Servers.
i've got a computer from 2019 that runs teh game on mostly high settings (medium viewing distance and medium general shadows (high shadows runs fine but doesn't look right to me)) and i personally don't have any issues other than when they update the devkit and some mods need to be re-cooked so you may have a couple days where you play without a mod or just wait for it to be updated. looks good, runs good, having fun with it
Playing singleplayer mode easily eats 16-17 GB RAM. If everything else only meets minimum requirements, don't get the game.
But 16 GB RAM is a issue (but can easily be fixed without spending too much money) and 3060 Ti is the biggest issue here, depending on what settings you wanna play. I think 1080p 60 FPS low-medium settings works but the game doesn't look great on this settings. Maybe in the future. If the game and engine gets optimized...
I have a server you can use my Ark or I can spin you up one.
But in this case the RAM is a smaller issue, because he has a 3060 Ti which don't perform well in the current game state
