Cooking pot

Whether i use the cooking pot or the irrigated pot, when making cactus broth with all right ingredients and it irrigated it only produces haze coloring. It does this with both wood and thatch fuel. What am i doing wrong?

In the inventory of the cooking pot, in the middle, at the bottom, there is an option like "deactivate automatic craft", click it... If not, it's Ark which choose what to craft... be a master of the cooking pot! :)

It has the ingredients for the soup but it autoselects dyes?

Because maybe it's also the ingredients for a dye?

it has the ingredients for dye before it has ingredients for soup so it makes dye, just turn off autocrafting, it's only useful when you're making dye and maybe, nope, just dye

I haven't bothered to use the cooking pot in this game yet. But from what I remember from survival evolved, if you had the ingredients for multiple recipes, it would make as many of one until it ran out. Then it would switch over to the next recipe. I don't know what it prioritizes, but we made sure to only put the ingredients for the stuff we wanted.

So you likely have other ingredients in the pot that will make a dye, but aren't needed for the broth.

You should set Autocraft off.
But to use this option best, do following for example for KIibble:

Put all needed components for 4 or 5 kibbles into the pot.
Now choose the blueprint and start production. Now switch autocraft to on.
So the 4 or 5 kibbles will be produced continously.
At the end switch autocraft to off again.
