Scorched earth...too many storms!
There is now far too many storms..almost back to back, within mins of each other. My poor little Jerboa's are going nuts all the time! I don't mind one now and then...but not this frequently! I have to keep using commands to get rid of it. But I shouldn't have to. Very tedious!

Totally agree.
Made a new character, sandstorm right on start, than rain than storm again... what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

ASE had the same issue. They will fix it. And at the same time it will make the storms actually do their effects. Then sandstorms will start draining stamina again. Electrical storms will stop gas powered generators. Heat waves will start cooking people out in the sun.

The fact that huge issues are still making it from ASE to ASA is a joke! SE is just a death simulator from the Raas stream I watched. 6 hours of dying over and over from heat and cave areas didn't stop the heat deaths.

heatwaves are cooking... 74c is roasting a player alive within a minute or two.

caves, walls, AC doesn't work.

I don't recall it being so frequent in the first game. The next storm is literally queuing up before the first one is over. Most of my playtime has been during heat waves, that's just crazy.

I get a laugh out of the prompt telling you to get underground! Like what does that even mean, what does that even do?

my biggest guess ( conspiracy theory incoming ) they dont want to add servers it cost money. make the storms frustrating an frequent to keep only the hard core players on the map so less hardcore players they stay on all the empty island servers. even after they paid for the new dlc - they get paid no matter what doesnt matter if you play - an they save money from server cost.

Interesting. Ya'll acting like this is a bug and not a feature. I believe the fact that they upped the temp of the Killer Heat in ASA means nothing is broken at all.

Also....for me caves and AC work perfectly. I can even stand on the porch outside the wall of my base and the AC still protects me. You do realize that only certain spots are considered caves right? It has to be an actual cave. Not just a passage way through a mountain or an overhang. I've even found some ruins, on the surface, that actually product you like cave do. They're near the oasis that's kind of in the middle of all the Obs.

clearly you're ignoring what the rest of us have been saying. we're pointing out something is wrong in our games and you basically say get good and you're not having problems so it doesn't exist.

* before a heatwave/storm ends, another is already beginning, they're continuously chaining and that's NOT normal for ASE. in ASE you get at least a half hour(both game and real time) between whatever storm or heatwave that would happen, not 2 heatwaves, a sandstorm, and a thunderstorm and then rinsing and repeating, without pausing between them. if you're lucky you might get a few minutes of a rainstorm in there, but so far in 3 games i've seen 2. the jerboas are going off before whatever storm/wave ends for the next one.

i've already gone into creative mode and tried a variety of builds and gear and none of it is working, no matter where i go. not the canyon, not the caves, no where and no matter how many ACs are setup in an adobe build, it still hits 74c and the walls etc might as well not exist for keeping a storm out. functionally i can't play the game right now unless i wear modded gear that make the weather redundant or play in creative. i've been watching a few of the more popular streamers, they're facing the same issues and commenting on the weather themselves.

Sorry, but I'm not one of those people who tell others to "get good" at anything. Everyone plays at they play. I couldn't care less. I was just commenting that everyone is assuming that the weather mechanics has a bug and I personally feel that perhaps it's the way WC intended it to be. Nothing more.

Also, the Lat and Long and the ruins that will protect you, as caves do, is Lat. 30.4 - Long. 53.7. Good luck everyone. Stay cool and don't give up. The challenge is worth it.

i have noticed that my stamina drains but I gain no sand during sandstorms. heatwaves are miserable, nothing helps.

Fortitude has been broken in ASA from the start, add the non-stop storms on SE and you have a realy s***show. We regularly have 20-30 minutes of non-stop storms, then 5 minutes nothing and it starts back up. Its F insane.
