Stuck on Installing 1%

every time there is an update it gets stuck on the installing part at 1 percent or 3 and i have to uninstall and reinstall the game every time is there a fix to this

This happened to me one time. I completely closed steam and restarted it and the update downloaded normally.

yeah i was trying to avoid the whole reinstall process but that seems to be the only fix i guess

it does the same for me, but if you leave it alone it will finish eventually...

Same here, my friend as well. This has only ever happened with this game, not even Evolved did it :/

One small patch for man kind, one giant patch to install. Be patient it will work but it re patches the whole game >.< at least for me.

I have never struggled with a game before like Ark. I hope Ark 2 will be better fml..

doesnt even let me un install the game, im just stuck in this limbo at 1%, i hope to god

Sometimes i have had that issue with games on Steam. Ive tried leaving it overnight, then thru the next day and into the night. Just verify and then install then verify ...
It has something to do with the Steam installer, not any individual game.

Uninstalling and then Reinstalling often times resolves that. Cumbersome and annoying but it gets you back into the game you enjoy (eventually).

you might have to wait 5 min sometimes or 30 min if you leave it it will work.
