ASA seem to run great now
Was surprised to see me averaging 70-80 fps on 4K high settings with frame gen and dlss turned on. I did not expect this at 4K for a early access UE5 game. Runs way better than Dragon Dogma 2 for instance.

My PC specs are no more than:
GPU: 4080 Super
CPU: AMD RYZEN 7800X3D
RAM: 32 GB 6000 CL30
SSD: SAMSUNG 980 PRO 2 TB

i also have to say that i have no performance issues with everything on ultra.the only thing that makes it unplayable are the endless high server pings for eu servers.if there are more than 10 ppl on a server the ping jumps over 200,if there are a view more even over 300.on scorched earth are no such problems, only on the island servers...its sad.:poop:

yes, I only lag when I'm next to a loot

Similar specs (4080) and same performance as well. Crashes have become rare if any at all no matter the session time.
Chickens Apr 23, 2024 @ 6:05pm
I disagree. Still get pretty bad performance (30-40 fps) with mostly medium settings with a 3090 and random black screen crashes. Other UE5 games run like butter for me on ultra settings in 4K...

This company only knows how to generate assets, use built in assets in the engine. Use chatgpt to connect the dots and poof, a product.
want proof?
2015-2024 and crossbow/rifle etc still bugs out on reload kekew

Frame gen is a must for this game so a 4070 card and above is highly recommended.

oh yeah i wonder why, looking at your specs.
PKantos Apr 24, 2024 @ 11:19am
the fact you need a 4080 or 4090 and really good cpu and ram to run this sucks
nas360 Apr 24, 2024 @ 11:21am
OP is deluded. A game that only runs at 30-40 fps on a 4080S or 4090 without frame gen is not optimized. The devs are relying on fake frames and upscaling to make up for very bad performance. Majority of gpu owners cannot use frame gen so it is a pathetic scenario.

OP posts specs that exceed that which is recommended to run the game then claims that the game runs great whilst skipping frames.
Commander GreyFox Apr 24, 2024 @ 10:41pm
lol, you're a goof. you built the best money can buy and said "wow, i cant believe the game just runs" no crap it runs well, what about everyone who has mid spec graphics cards?
Mr Titus R Jun 8, 2024 @ 6:30am
It's odd that y'all have this recent hardware and are quoting 30-40 fps... That's what i'm getting on...
AMD 3900XT (hitting around 60c w/ 240 AIO)
16g Ram
Nvidia 3090 (The only thing modern about my 4 year old setup.)(air cooled, 60c also)

If this old CPU is performing similar to new stuff with more and better of everything else, it's something with the optimization, not the hardware.
