Backing up single player character?

Is there a way to back up your single player character? I ASE i would frequently loose my character when transferring maps, I encountered this in ASA when first loading into SE, just wondering if there's a way to back your character so you can restore it in case it gets lost again. Kind of a pity this bug is still in the game.

I believe backing up the file LocalPlayer.arkprofile will do what you want. I've never done that with ASA, but I used to do it sometimes with ASE. I do frequently back up TheIsland_WP.ark or ScorchedEarth_WP.ark, which I sometimes use to roll back to a prior point in time on the respective map (because of game glitches, or maybe because of my mistakes).

While not exactly what you are asking for, there is a way to protect your actively held inventory items.

I have used this mod on both my ASE as well as ASA cluster maps to help recover items for players and it works well.

It does require to be logged in as an admin to recover the items though.

Umm ironic you calling someone "Stuped" and spelling it wrong.

Just locate yourv ark install location and look for the save folder... copy it and it things go pair shaped copy it back over writing the bugged save folder
