It's often better just to keep killing Dino's in the spawn areas to give a good chance to respawn in the Dino you are looking for rather than doing full dino wipes
1. First double click on the Keyboard M for the "better" map.
2. Then click (if installed) the Dino Finder Button on map (right botton i think)
3. Scroll Down to Yuty (Alphabet) and fill in the min. and max. Levels for what yuty you are searching and click the Button right of which looks loke a marker.
4. Then if present the yuty´s (icons) should appear on the map.
5. Click on the Yuty or Yuty´s you want to track.
et voila...
(On "The Island" the Yutys are mostly at the Snow Biom.)
Six days (real time) at LEAST 3 hours a day..2 days over SIX hours....so over 24 real time hours......NOT A SINGLE YUTI!
NONE in the snow.....NONE bordering the snow.....NONE at the volcano....just NONE to be found....whT the hell?
Is the Yuti rare as some people say? Or is the Yuti all over the place?
So the question is........
Can the megalithic, brood mother etc. Be done without a Yuti?
what is your wild dino spawn amount set to? if its at 1.00 try upping it to 1.05 or 1.10 and see if that helps (do a wild dino wipe after each time you raise it)
Thanks for the reply.
Is the spawn rate for the AMOUNT of dino spawns?
I don't think (remember) but I think I left spawn rate alone.
Does raising the spawn rate increase the odds of the rarer spawns or just the total number of dinos?
Thanks again!
In my experience yes increasing the dino count give a better chance to spawn rare dinos, i used to lower it to 0.95 just so every beach was not total chaos but the unintended side effect was no spinos or gigas would spawn. Once i changed it back we found and tamed a giga a few hours later after not seeing one for weeks.
On The Island, in the Arctic Region. They are over-spawning, you can see their next spawns. Filling the Arctic Beaches and Forests, making Single-Player landing on the Arctic Mainland suicidal. With Yuty screams from all directions, and 3 to 5 Carno's in tow for each Yuty...
