Loot Crates and Single Player
Is there anyway to prevent loot crates from despawning on a single player game just because I exit the game and reload?
I'm asking because if I play a few hours and then leave, come back and play a few hours and leave, the loot crates (especially cave loot and deep sea loot) are almost never spawned in. The timer always reset when I first load into my save (I'm guessing). I've never gotten a deep sea loot crate before, just because I've never seen one in my save.

To answer that question I would say no"... When you stop your single player you are tuning off the game and it's no longer live. Once you restart your game you are telling it to restart all of it's files and even restart the drops, and even the dinos with restart. The only way out of this is to rent a small server or host one on your system and will run in the background that you can connect to . I myself play the single player and I know I can save my progress on my journey, but if i shut that game down, everything will reset when I launch the game again. But I will still have my things that I worked for.
How long does it take for loot crates to Respawn?
Two Deep Sea Loot Crates are initially spawned on server start that only despawn when looted or the server is shutdown, with only one loot crate spawning every 25 minutes. If both crates are looted at least 45 minutes must pass from the moment the first crate was looted before both crates will have respawned.
