I can NOT find any metal, anywhere

We started scorched earth today like manny other, but we haven't found 1 metal depostid so far, went around the river, at the foot and top of the mountains, and we didn't find 1, anyone else has that?

I can't find any metal either. Even in the old spots for ase. I think its bugged.

Only metal I got was forcetaming an oasisaur and it was in his inventory.

Umm there are tons of deposits, easiest is the hill/mountain by the green Obs. Big white/silver mounds. Ankys nearby also, but be careful Thyla and Artho (centipedes).

Should be noted that metal nodes look different on this map. To me, they look more like salt stuck inside of rock. They are rock nodes with more "white" or "silver" veins running through them. I found some near the red obelisk. It should also be noted that this map really did not change much from the old ASE map; things are roughly where they used to be.

We are having the same issue with metal, crystal, and silica pearls.

same issue, not much metal, sulfur, and can't see the pearls (but knew where to hit E to harvest them). crystal and obsidian are on the mountains.

6 hours, still just the three metal I stole from a forcetamed Oasisaur which starved after about 3 hours even after I turned dino hunger and raid hunger to 0.0
Plenty of crystal in the Church cave, but so far 0 obsidian, silica, metal. Also no sign of the new suchus at all. Just 5 Titanosaur in the middle (thought there could only be 3 per map?) and about 9-12 oasisaurs around the map edge

ok so i found 2 rocks that gave a total of 3 metal and they were at the base of the mountain at red ob they look like giant ♥♥♥♥♥

EDIT: also some have jagged chunks taken out

Lucky you. 8 hours, logged off/on multiple times still none. In SP. About to just spawn an admin rifle and start capping Oasisaurs for it.ny

Edit: tried going back to Island for my stash from my other character... anybody else tried going back yet? Transfer failed both characters now apparently gone and both maps wiped. 100 hours in SP gone.

Be happy you're in que and haven't been on the map since theres no metal, its twice as hot as ASE SE and now apparently it deletes everything you own if you leave

Funnily enough, character loss on transfer has been an issue with ASE launched... Good luck getting your characters back, a lot of friends quit playing the game over that specific bug where they lost hundreds of game hours, support refused to help each time.

Tends to be worst around the time that new updates and maps launch but happens at random too.
