Oasisaur!?

I like the idea of Oasisaur, a mobile base, but i didn't get how is it implemented.
Have i to buy the Bob dlc? If yes is that creature transferable to other maps or on Scorched Earth vanilla map?

I actually was able to figure it out, after almost the whole day of searching and almost losing that gentle giant.

The answer is literally in the dossier. you need a pot and a shovel. then you search for a phat cactus und use the shovel while your pot is in your inventory. you will literally pot the cactus. now, you can put that cactus pot (which will be green, when "potted") into the inventory of the oasisaur. it'll eat the cactus and get food.

If Shovel/Pot are, as I suspect part of the BTT DLC I stand by my previous statements. The Oasisaur is not tameable or feedable as free SE DLC, it is just for show. I expect this will become a trend, especially after Anomolocaris. And when Oasisaur goes over to PVP it will basically be P2W, as anyone willing to piss away $30 will basically have immortal tames.

i refunded the game and got my money back :)

Umm it was always this way, everyone who wanted SE knew the Oasissaur was part of the DLC, how do you and the others not know this already ? So many threads of people complaining about the DLC being P2W, and you missed all of those ?

Never once have i implied that the DLC was not trash for the P2W aspect of the Oasissaur, but wow, i am at least informed before i whine about something on the forum.

Not, whining... trying to help answer an honest question, and having to test it because no one else had a clear answer. I didn't know because I stopped paying attention to dev announcements months ago when I realized nothing was getting fixed. Came back today because I got an update, wondered what the deal was. Saw this thread and wondered the same thing. So thank you for answering my question an hour after I solved it by trial and error, then basically calling me an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for ever trying to help.

It eats potted plants. Use a shovel and literally any bush with pots in your inventory. They will turn green you place those in the Oasisaur inventory and it will eat the foliage giving you the brown pot back to fill again.

It will eat, just the method sucks.

Have empty plant pots in your inventory, use shovel to dig up flowers and bushes. Pots will turn green in your inventory. Put green pots in the oasisaur's inventory. It will eat the plants and you get your pots back. Gets between 30 and 75 food each

LOL what a actual joke this comment is. Perhaps you should go learn something before making uneducated comments.

How to feed the Oasisaur. Make plant pots, that come with the DLC, go hit the bases of trees with the shovel and it will put the trees in the pots. Put the pots in the Oasisaur's inventory and it eats them. I tried different plants and trees give the most food. It's kinda hard to not hit other plants when trying to hit trees, but if you aim for the bottoms of them. Oh, and the trees with multi trunks and leaves. Not the cactus looking ones. Those only give you "bushes".

well it should eat some plant pots.. make normal plant pots and dig plants with your shovel, they will turn from orange/red into green ones. these will be eaten by the oasisaur
