Dinos reset to Level 1 and don't gain EXP?

Was playing the new SE map on my own hosted server. Everything was going pretty decent until we tamed and pet a Lystrosaurus. I'm not entirely sure if it is even related. After petting the Lystro and leaving it at the base, we returned to the Lystro and the other close dinos set to level 1. Points in speed and melee were removed on all creatures and exp was no longer being gained. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

It also happened to me on Official server, I was taming a lvl 130 Yutyrannus, when it went unconscious its lvl reset to 1 and my nearby Gigantoraptor (lvl 260+) also reset to lvl 1.

Oh man, that would make me a little sad. As much as it sucks I'm at least happy to see someone else having the same issue and that I'm not crazy. The idea of investing into dino tames for them to randomly go to level 1 makes me hesitant to keep playing on the SE map. At least for me, I haven't encountered this issue until the new map patch.

Hoping there is a fix for it eventually.

I had this happen as well, but it randomly snapped back to it's previous level after like an hour or so?

This also just happened to me as well on my own server, good to know that after 3 weeks it’s still not fixed!

I had seen a number of dinos out in the wild that were level 1 and wasn't sure how that was happening. I'm x5 levels, so minimum dino level is supposed to be 5. But then it happened to one of my tame. I'm literally looking at the stats on one of my tames. Well call him Joe. Joe was over level 200 and he had a level up. I closed Joe's dialog without leveling him up and checked Bob, another dino. I closed Bob's dialog and returned to Joe. Joe was now level 1 with base stats. I had just checked him 10 seconds earlier.

Update: The lvls appear to have come back w/o having to log out/in.

Restarting the game seemed to fix it

Typical Ark bug , Client side only. anytime you are questioning any issues you are having re-log fixes 80% of client issues level 1's, animals sinking in the floor,hotbar, tame stats not what they should be.

Seems like a render distance bug that fixes it without having to log out in. Moving away from base and coming back could take care of it.

Still happening i put a deino down on the srtver not knowing it could reset to right level thought it had something caused by descended well tolate now not sure if crossplay server caused it im playing with pc but on xbox x
