What has been revealed so far in Scorched earth is:

• Oasisaur
  
• New Skins that are spaghetti-western themed
  
• Trains
  
• Carriages. The trailer shows a Thyla pulling a carriage.
  
• Some sort of digging for treasure mechanic
  
• What looks like pre built assets for buildings, such as saloons
  
• Some sort of quick draw mini game, maybe?
  
• Piano playing

There is most likely more that I missed, and there is plenty yet to be announced for Aberration and Extinction.

At the end of the day, if you don't want it, then don't pay for it. I certainly like the idea of not having to manually build a town manually.
