Can I only run one map at a time?
I'm pretty new to game ghosting. I just do it for me and a couple of friends. I have it on nitrado (obviously). My question is, am I only able to have one map available on my server at once? If I switch the server to scorched earth, does it delete all my Island stuff?

You rent one server from Nitrado for 1 map. You want more than 1 map then you pay for each server.. It adds up to expensive. If you host your own maps on your own server and share them to your friends or joe public then that is an option. It does not need to be a top server but needs to be adequate. Think ryzen7 or higher with a good ssd and as much memory you can sling at it. work on the asumption that the smallest map with mods will be starting at consuming 11GB (the island with say 25-30 MODs, 2-3 players Gen2 i estimate will bang in close to 20 maybe 25GB on ASA... it is unknown at this time. Comparison is Island ASE started @4GB Island now starts @9.8GB so the larger maps are gonna bee up near 20+gb

I have given you the waffle above so you can see how it works.
And yes Nitrado servers have memory and storage constraints so i think your island map would dissapear being as in reset/deleted. I do not know if you can retrieve/download all the save or profile files, to enable you to build the island elsewhere.

you can "swap" maps without losing anything if you have at least 2 servers.
what I would do in my old ark se community back in the day. I had 2 rented servers and I had Ragnarok as the main on 1 because everyone looooooooooooooved that map and I had the other changing every 2 months between scorched and aberration and the island to allow people to get those tames, beat the bosses etc and bring them back to Ragnarok with no restrictions between the maps. People just had uploaded their characters and dinos before map swap. because the map was swapped, not deleted, when it switched back, peoples stuff was still there including buildings and dinos that where left behind.
