lighting quality stuff
just an idea to look for an hdr setting on you're monitor/tv. GL
OK so the cloud thing can be fixed (kind of). If you really don't mind losing the clouds ( and gaining a bit of fps in the process).
Hit the tilth key and type in r.volumetricClouds 0
This turn them fully off. if you want to reenable them then type the same thing space 1.
Disabling the on land/water haze/fog will give you a fps jump too and make the game brighter and more crisp , ESPECIALLY underwater. - r.volumetricfog 0
My brothers been having issues with mid 40's fps , we found this lastnight , he jumped to 60 fps turning these both off.
I wish I had more answers for you , I used my tv's hdr setting to fix mine so I wasn't blinded anymore. The electric lights you can hold E and adjust the light intensity on them is all I can think of , or maybe switch to angler gel in the torchs ( I think it gives off a blue light if I remember right) so maybe not so intense?
Man I have no idea , Dunno if it's a nvidia thing or a wc thing for this 1 issue , me and my brother have the exact same pc and I've had no issues at all , he on the other hand had to under voltage his cpu ,mess with core speeds , mess with nvidia settings , add a bunch of line to his game ini file on startup just to make the dam game run without crashing.
This game is so poorly optimized I'm suprised it's not bricking video cards or cpu's.
did the volumetric cloud / fog thing help you atleast?
