Every freaking day a stupid update

Every time i start up steam to play some ark, i have to wait for 20 minutes because even a small patch is going through all 100GB of the game at a SNAIL's pace.
i know i know nobody cares.
i should be glad they don't charge for that too i guess.

yup constantly tiny updates most of which break the servers. these devs don't have a clue what they are doing

Really?? Every other game out there gets blasted for not updating enough and people blast this one because it does update.
Here is a thought while you are at work have Steam running and the update will be done when you get home.
This has absolutely NOTHING to do with Ark at all. The origina Ark did this, Atlas, Icarus, Myth of Empires does this and a few more I am not thinking of. This is 100% a STEAM issue, highly suggest that you get everyone you know dealing with this and send in Steam Support tickets maybe they will fix it.

Seems you are the one that needs to get a clue. Early Access games update and some frequently. Go back and try READING this time the disclaimer about EA games. Put it into a Text to Voice software if you must. You were told before you bought only your fault if you failed to read.

thing is that ark does not update like normal games. like download an update, patch quickly and go on.
NO, it always parses the WHOLE GAME every time even for the smallest update.
so it is not very nice when every time i start my pc to play some ark, i have to wait 20 minutes for it to parse 100GB for every small crap.
and no i will not leave the pc running non stop just so ark would update.

I think it has something to do with the free space on your drive thats why for some people it only patches what's needed, try to free up 250GB in the drive the game is in if possible and see if that works. Kinda sucks it has to be this way but what can you expect from these devs

most updates take less then 5 min.. more recently some of them have only been 15 seconds..

I know how to fix it. But it requires a complete walk away. After all. There is nothing new. Oh power rangers... yea.... wow they paid you alot. Acoylytes next update? Ark and Acoylytes make sense. Money grab for a new game. sure.

Its early access LOL, while i can agree the devs are incompetent(not sure why you are surprised there unless you are new to Ark and if so this is "Ark"), this games is basically a very functional beta.. why would you not want them to patch it often? There is gonna be alot of patches, often and there should be in a beta. Go play a complete functional game if the patches bother you, because you don't seem to understand what early access on steam is.
