Yeah yer missing the point... having to turn off graphical improvements means the ASA upgrade was pointless. Still crashes.
Cannot agree with you more, hell i was one in ASE, i freely admit it.
WKR's do not understand that WC/Snail will fail if they do not take the criticism seriously and try to backtrack and actually make the game run. No WC/Snail .... mo more ASA.
Ok point taken, but it still crashes, even if the clouds are reduced, that's with my computer that has a 3090 (wife gets the poopy system), and on my other computer that has a 7900xTx. so either way i have a fairly high end system on either team RED or team Green. If someone says a 3090 is not a high end card, go try to buy one, and tell me thats a cheap card.

Yea. Cuz they all moved on to play Palworld *that did Unreal 5 correctly* and Enshrouded.
Thought DLSS was frame gen ?
Optical Multi Frame Generation was introduced in DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and generates frames using AI to analyze “two sequential in-game images and calculates motion vector data for objects and elements that appear in the frame” The frames are fed into a neural network along with engine and optical flow motion vectors to produce a combined DLSS-generated, with DLSS 3 said to boost frame rates by up to 4x when compared to non DLSS methods.
Oh yeah it is, so i don't understand you.
it's 2 separate features, my 2070s has DLSS but not frame generation and it literally tells you in game where you change DLSS settings if you don't have it available
They are separate things. Super Sampling creates a higher resolution from a lower resolution source, frame generation creates "in between" frames based on assumptions rather than source. Very different.
It's just that Nvidia used a silly name for its frame gen by calling it a VERSION of DLSS. In the game you can select them seperately, you can enable DLSS but not enable frame gen and it's that frame gen that caused me issues in the past (no idea if it still does, it might be fixed).
