Wildcard please read this

Im not telling that the game must be perfect.. most of us liked the good old ark even with some small glitches or errors, those were not the problem..
But now an illness called Snail Game is infesting wc and i think its too late for them to go back but pls wc try to consider what a guy with almost 6000 hours on ark has to say:
-Ressurecting dinos can be a good idea but it DEPENDS on the cost to do so.. i cant judge that yet. A very precious animal dying its surely a grim event but that was part of the ark experience and i dont want to reach a point were i can go yolo everywhere without being scared of dying because i can always ressurect my animals with a click..
-Im sure remastering a game with UE takes a LOT of time and precise handwork ( even a bunch of rocks can ruin the landscape if poorly positioned) so DONT BE HASTY with making and releasing next maps, i prefere waiting 3 more months than having a broken map with pebbles floating everywhere , dinos spawn inside solid textures or broken hitboxes. If snail games is pushing you to do this as fast as u can without caring about quality then they are a very dumb company because they should want the game to be healthy and working as intented.
-Because its a new version with new (even if small) mechanics im ok with paying the new reworked maps BUT MAKING A DINO PAY TO WIN OR JUST "EXCLUSIVE" IS COMPLETELY WRONG AND ITS ALSO VERY CLEAR THAT THE REASON IS NOTHING BUT MONEY GRAB..
but listen me here.. money IS very important to grow and work more but the game also have to be worth that money amount and an extra dino ( a very IMPORTANT and powerful one also) cannot be worth any extra money besides the base game price for each map, with the abilities the oasisarusus have it WILL BE A MUST HAVE and so u are basically FORCING people to buy it... The cost for such dino can only be a long or difficult taming system where the player skill is rewarded not the wallet.. the same should be applied on the ressurection cost of each animal.
Im really scared that ark is not gonna be a game about survival anymore.. but just about broken dinos locked behind extra money transactions.
Please wildcard if u still have some power or control about your game do not turn ark in a pay to win without any challenges besides using our creditcards.
If instead these choiches were your own doing then nevermind..you are changed.. the ark we know and the nice group of developers that loved dinos are no more and the game will die brutally after an agonizing and slow death.

1. Devs intentionally do not interact on this forum in this capacity. We've discussed this here and also for years on the ASE forum too.

2. The company is having serious fiscal accountability issues and has been discussed for a long time here, on youtube, game news articles and more. They need revenue and at this point, they're desperate to do so by almost any means they can, even going back on statements they made back in 2015 to never mtx because they disliked it:

But its all self inflicted(as you can see from the info from the article at the very least).

Your fear of loss is thus of merit.
Your fear and anger(a symptom of the fear at this point really) are accurately grounded in their motivations being for revenue.

But what you're seeing is a culmination of missteps and mishandling from top down and bottom up now for so many years.

And thus your fear and anger also come from the fact that there's practically nothing you can do because the damage is, in essence, already done.

In terms of the 5 stages of grief:
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance

You're intermixed between the anger and bargaining stages and likely its going to take some time for you to get to the acceptance stage on this as others have come to do.

That's what made this game great, consequences for mistakes costs you. Resurrecting dino's is for whiny babies and has ruined the game.

They didn't remaster the game, they straight ported it, that's why thing's like insta death zones in the Center underground are still there. It's a straight port with all the problems in ASE now in ASA, that they charged 40 bucks for.

Fortnite makes millions with cosmetic only DLC. Snail Games has decided to release Pay To Win content, with the hopes that all players will download it just to stay even with everyone else. That is a perfect way to destroy your franchise. Pathetic.

Stop playing multiplayer, play solo local, start from scratch and try to survive and thrive, all alone, no cheaters and you'll have fun. Stop giving Snail Games more money for nothing.

There is no reason for Wild Card to work on a game the player community is killing, as they gaslight and project it back onto Wild Card. These people telling devs to take their lives in update notes and complaining about balance in a children's miracle network charity stream are going to eventually be sunsetted, and they will be on here impotently bashing and raging, just like they have been. Let it happen, and try to find your own unique relationship with the game, that you can enjoy, despite the toxicity.

Wild Card has no support department for tickets, presently, because it got tired of catering to players getting griefed by their own fellow survivors, as the main issue, beyond the death threats and venomous tirades that are standard Ark support tickets.
