Hi
They are feeding from a trough does that make any difference?
There must be something i can change within the settings.

Check the gender of your dinos. Only females lay eggs. The other gender doesn't.

Tame a OviRaptor, put it in a cage and then set it to wander, (cage stops it wandering) have it near your egg layers, it increases and encourages egg layers to lay eggs quicker

There are multiple ways to increase egg drops from your tamed dinos.

In Game:

1. Get multiple females (each female has its own egg laying timer, so having multiple increases the chance that any given female will lay an egg)

2. Get an Oviraptor, they will increase the egg laying frequency of dinos around them. Just bring one within range of egg laying dinos, fill the Oviraptor's inventory to maximum with a cheap, heavy material (wood, stone, etc.) to keep it from moving, then set it to wander (you'll see an egg icon on the dinos within range of its buff). A bonus for this method is that (if set to it in its radial menu) the Oviraptor will automatically pick up eggs within a certain range (range increases according to the Oviraptor's level).

3. Proximity to egg layers may help. Like spending some time nearby the egg layers (so they stay loaded in) may help somewhat?

4. Not really proven (could be superstition on my part), but I've found that my dinos tend to start laying eggs more often after they've mated, so may be worth having them pop out and egg or two and see if that kickstarts anything.

Out of Game (settings):

1. There should be a setting along the lines of "egg laying interval" in the advanced settings menu before you enter the game. This setting scales the amount of time between egg laying in game. If you reduce this setting (smaller number equals less time between egg laying) then your dinos should lay eggs more often.

I feel like at least one of these methods should help out somewhat. I'd say I hope you drown in eggs, but that doesn't really sound all that pleasant honestly, so I'll just wish you luck.

It was the way to do in ASE, since ASA, no need to put the oviraptor in a cage and no need to wandering, just look at his range of egg collection (like the range of electricity power or the range of irrigation, etc...) and choose (in the wheel) what do you want it collects, fertilized eggs, non fertilized, both or none. 😉
