If you read my post, I covered the cart and the rest with "bundled".

You argue that this is specifically a blatant cash grab because they are selling one thing/feature for a fixed price. However, what is not a cash grab to you is the purchase of a season pass type DLC (for an EA game) which includes content that hasn't even been developed or released yet?

They are unequivocally the same things and it is very simple to understand, because you supported one they have now released more for you to buy.

Tall Tales offered among other aspects a new dino that had distinctive P2W features whereby purchasers could revive dead or lost tames, they also have access to a method of carrying a freaking rock golem with an argy via the cart and an uncontested and over powered loot tables.

Here we have a singular dino for a lesser cost, it bypasses the requirement for cryopods needing a fridge and can be used to obtain loot from caves in a way which other players who have not purchased it are unable to do. It's no doubt broken on release and will be over powered as hell in one way or another.

How is this not the same thing? You simply paid more for more features or perhaps less because they were bundled together at a "discounted" price when you consider that it's basically a season pass which other features that are not yet released.

This is your new Ark. It's not going to be the game we played and fell in love/hate with.

It's now a themepark, and progression is openly for sale. They couldn't beat the RMTers, so they joined them.

I don't begrudge them for it. A company's gotta make money. But I don't spend my money on casual crap like this. I need a challenge, and it's been a long time since this game's offered one anyway.

All good things must come to an end. This is the end of Ark as we knew it.

Some kids have not fully developed critical thinking abilities yet, it's beyond messed up that these "ads" even exist within the game as a part of the content that was originally purchased.

I just checked and wow, I bought evolved on 2nd June 2015 for £19.08 .
Thats 9 years ago......time flies.
Edit: also I thought Id point out not everyone posting has both games, some just come to gaslight and troll

Well first game was pure $hit tbh without mods, so it's just smart to see all the issues here before even remotely think about purchasing. Which is an easy decision.
Take out the dinos, swap it with something else and i don't think this game gets even 5% of it's player base.
