Don't lose inventory

I'm playing solo and offline and I would like to know how to configure the game so that the inventory is not lost when I die, since I find it very boring to have to go and collect the items. I see many options, but none related to this. Can it be done?

Install a Mod called `Death Inventory Keeper` or better still install `Awesome Teleporters`

Yeah without mods there is no way to do that as that is the penalty for dying. Without penalty for dying you are not really surviving.

Death inventory keeper adds all your stuff back when you respawn... it`s not perfect as I have seen it fail 1% of the time. Also you need to unlock engram and make and place the awesome teleporter in your base before hand to get your stuff back.. you approach it and press `E` and retrieve corpse from the radial menu

Death inventory keeper works perfectly and is just what I was looking for. When you die you respawn with your entire inventory and weapons and armor equipped. Thank you so much.
