I did a quick search and several folks have had luck fixing this issue. I'd suggest taking a look at the link below and see if any of that will assist you in determining the issue.

That's not work for me, im using 4090 still have this error.
Same. Doesn't happen often now that the latest drivers resolved framegen issues, but it still will just randomly crash with d3d device lost. Happens more often when i'm flying on wyvern.
I'm looking on the unreal forums to see what others have tried. A lot of posts are old, so probably just a UE5 issue that'll never get resolved. Looks like it's mainly a DX12 issue with Unreal. This kinda stuff is hard to resolve since what might work for 1 person doesn't mean it'll fix for everyone... At least i can try stuff when i get home.
Got the same today...nothing changed since yesterday running smoothly for ~4hours while watching temps via hwinfo...must be on ue5 or nvidia part...we will have to wait for a patch...
guessing y'all got a rtx 4ish series?!

Edit2: Yep its definitly a ue5/nvidia problem, I've switched the graphics presets from epic to low and back and it crashed again:
