No kairuku in singleplayer

I went from official to sp cause the rubberbanding back and forth was makin me sick. On official the icebergs were full of them. However sp theres none in sight. All icebergs are void of any life at all. I need the organgic poly but i cant seem to find any spawns. I saw months go that this was a bug and there was apparantly a patch to spawn them but to this date i dont see them. I do see a small handful of dead ones in woods up on cliff but that area is packed full of carnivores. I guess i could just manually spawn some in and do that tho it feels like cheating. Just curious if this is a known sp bug.

I play single player, and they get eaten as quick as they spawn. Ark Ascended over-spawns Yuti's, Carno's and Pigs, along with the Wolves now.

Wolves used to over-spawn in Ark Survival Evolved, that is tame compared to the new spawns they added, on top of the Wolves.


My first trip to the Arctic I got all 5 Penguins I wanted, for an Auto Polymer Farm. Got back to Base, quit the game, reloaded it the next day, and they all fell into the water when my Taming Raft spawned invisible, like it does each time I reload the game, and all but 2 females got eaten by Piranha's.

2nd trip nothing.
3rd trip a single female on the Cliff Tops, no good.
4th trip, which I done today, snatched a male, before it got eaten by a Carno on the beach. The last one alive, of 8 Penguins. All running towards the Carno...

About an hour in the Arctic, for each trip. Hunting for Ovis, getting Oil, Pearls, Obsidian and Metal. Arctic Iceberg Base Building.

Personally, i'm playing on SP and there are kairukus on the "frozen islands" the most on the NW of the map, as the predators can't go there...
