The Island ate my body

I didn't die, I was on a hill. I disappeared and had to choose a bed to spawn at. I walk back to the same spot. My body disappears for a few seconds and I have to choose another bed. I did it four times. Each time I lose my body and it's poofed. Lost everything I had.

WTF? Is this normal? nothing killed me, my tribemates got no death message.

Sadly this is a common problem in asa, anti mesh. Lost arges and my character to it too just landing tryin to regain stanima to all sudden poof out of existence. When im on my flyer i get worried every time i land if game is gonna let me land or instant kill my arge / me. Sad part this issues been here since launch they wont fix it, oh but if people dont use eggs to tame gigaraptor there quick to patch that just to spite the playerbase.

totally turned me off but not before I played the game for over 2 hours. Really sucks. I love playing on official but just can't constantly worry about losing everything. Especially once you start carrying cryopods.
