Can't collect Fiber with tames.

I am still new to ASA, long time Ark Evolved player but less than 30hrs on ASA but I know for fact the Parasaur can collect Fiber from bushes but yet I went for 5 mins straight at bushes with him and he collected literally 0, not even a single piece. Is this a know issue or this just for me or what? I don;t want to hand collect Fiber for an hour to make my sexy base.

I also thought that the parasaur would collect fiber, but it doesn't (or just not in ASA). The wiki states that the parasaur will collect berries+seeds+thatch+wood.

I harvest with a moschops and it does collect fiber in addition to berries+seeds.

A quicker way for harvesting fiber is a sickle.

Paras don't collect fiber, Moschops can though.
Also Therizinos and Gigantopithecus but moschops are way easier to tame if you find a not too greedy one.

Para's never got fiber to my as long as I've been playing, always started with a moschops then got a megatherium or Theri

Well I was trying the para cuz I didn't have access to the sickle yet, and well in Evolved you could farm Fiber like it was candy with the para. I really hope this is just a bug and not gonna stick because I'd rather tame one of these off rip to Fiber Farm than using the moschops. But everyone is different with what they'd rather use.

Edit - Using the Wiki wouldn't be wise, it seems a bit of it is outdated/mostly just for Evolved. I mean ofc some stuff will still stand, you def can get wood/thatch with the para, but obviously they added new berries and what not and well it seems made the Para not able to farm Fiber. So just be cautious what things you take to heart off the Wiki. It is just community made after all, so eventually they might update it or make a new one for ASA alone.

Outdated source, all this info is from Evolved, they've added/changed a bit especially with the Para so this wouldn't be accurate.

Is that on Evolved or ASA? Cuz I know 100% Evolved you could farm fiber with the Para.

you need a Therez, king of fibre collection. has multiple collection modes too for wood/thatch/berries etc

That or the trike even maybe were gonna be the next few things I try for since I can't get anything else rn. I don't know why but I have like half the archive of Dinos that spawn, I haven't seen a single T rex, giga, any Alpha dinos, haven't even seen so much as an Argy spawn yet and I am up North by Carno Island, so I am kinda just trying to figure out wtf is wrong with this game rn.
