Question for the remaining player base.

Since the release of the game the player base has really diminished. At the time i'm writing this ASA is currently ranked 103 on the steam charts, not good. I personally would like to see the more popular maps released instead of having to play on maps i'm never going to call my home. Does anyone have any positive solutions on how to keep whats left of the player base and maybe add to it?

my 118h save got corrupted and that was the breaking point for me. i wont spend another dime or minute in the game.

First, developers need to realize that they are "developers."

Nobody knows what they are doing, not even themselves, thats why we got
Ark: Survive the bug and Ark: Descended

They have made poor decisions with "snail games"(best company in the world obviously)... "nitrado"(we love the official servers with 100% uptime and 0% crash 0% lag 0% rubberbanding 0% rollbacks, obviously the best service in the world), liars and fake official info since always on their "ad's", patch notes and Community Crunch, new hidden "changes" that they don't say, same bugs as in 2015 , same mesh holes, same fake "roadmaps", the same poor support as in 2015, the same lack of communication from 2015

and wtf are "ark animated series" and "ark 2"?

they still working on the "future"... while all the current game is almost dead...

im Ok with the 70% copy and paste, like they do even with ATLAS and the menu, just i dont like that they even copy the same wrong service with the same wrong ppl

16.- Stop the "secret" updates (they removed the FAV list, tether distance, and still set random numbers for the render distance without patch notes or community crunch)

19.- Stop wasting money and time with SOTF (let them die in peace)
20.- Hire ppl for good translations (I don't speak English and they don't speak my language, obviously)

Positive solutions? Most of this is for PVE, PVP might disagree. But they could code both differently.

Stop Lying: Almost all patch notes have blatant lies about fixes that aren't fixed, they said moving to UE5 was starting from scratch to resolve bugs they couldn't fix in UE4, nope same bugs, just a crappy port.

Stop making life worse: Cryo no longer able to unpod anywhere? on PVE this is stupid and sucks. One example but many things changed.

Make it easier for people with jobs or casual players: Palworld did this nicely, how about that egg incubate timer goes to 0 then it's still safe from spoiling for 24 hours and doesn't crack open so when we log in we can chose to hatch it on our time, so many things PW did better with quality of life.

Give a ♥♥♥♥: No ticketing for lost dinos or characters, just breaking ToS and cheating.
I believe by putting this game under Early Access again they can basically use that as an excuse to screw over people and not care.

Fix the Lag: Official is a cancer and probably always will be.

Release another Map ASAP: The island is the most boring map and i think most people agree.

Any solution that would completely resolve the wide array of reasons as to why the situation has come to be as it is would require being able to make both top down and bottom up changes to the company, and prevent their current financial issues with outstanding debt/loans by use of a time machine.

It is a recipe of things in an ever speeding up vicious circle, really.

And there is nothing really that you can do about it, especially since devs intentionally do not interact on this forum in this capacity(which is another layer of the above mentioned things).
