How to disable main menu music?

just press escape / settings / advanced / disable main menu music

That's not working for me. this is my 6th thread about this and I'm so tired of reading about how easy it is. I've toggled it so many flipping times and it does nothing. Yes, I pressed save, in fact all the other settings do save. This is honestly broken for me and considering how many people are asking about this I think it might be broken for others too, but people are so dang rude or dismissive because they aren't having the issue so they assume PEBCAK.
