What is the yellow/orange halo around the tamed Hyaenodons?

Hi, first time i'm interested and tame Hyaenodons and there is a possibility to pet them, once tamed, and comes this halo (which means a buff?) and i didn't understand what it brings.

Even on the wiki of Ark.fandom, it's wrtitten:
"They can be pet as well seeming to give them an unknown buff/effect of some sorts sporting a orange glow"

Just for info, it's not to heal at all!

Wiki from ASA: "A Hyaenodon can be petted by pressing E when in close proximity. It gives "Hug" buff for 120 seconds (Does not have an official name), sporting an orange aura, halving received damage and doubling dealt Melee Damage." 😉
