Character Lost After Alpha Ascension

Please help, yesterday after completing the Alpha Ascension cave on Official PVE server with my Level 105 character it suddenly then disappeared. After skipping the cutscene I was brought to the “Character List” to download my character but the list was empty. I quit the game and came back and still nothing, I reinstalled the game and verified all game files and still nothing. I also had a second character (Level 104) but it wasn’t on any server because I had left it in the ob/terminal and that’s also gone. I don’t want my base to auto decay, I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Single player or sever? if your in single player or have access to the server save files you can try to restore a backup save. You'll likely lose your ascension but at least you won't lose everything. I got in a habit of copying my save folder to a backup anytime I do a boss or ascend as Ark is notorious for breaking when you teleport around. check to see if (random numbers).arkprofile and (random number).arktribe is present and has a .bak backup extension. If so you can restore the .bak files to .arkprofile and .arktribe. That will likely set you back a day. (effectively a server rollback)

!!!!! before messing with saves make a backup copy to restore if its FUBAR !!!!!

well unfortunately your probably SOL on official. Saves are server side and you need admin to get at them. I don't really do official just for this reason. You might be able to find a client side charater .bak but I doubt it. I assume you'll have to do a support ticket with wildcard, but I have no experience in that. Good luck I know your pain.
