Auto engrams

Anyone have a work around for auto engrams. I cannot unlock the beehive in a mod, i never have free engrams to do so. I tried a mindwipe but immediately auto engrams kicks in and i can do nothing. Other than taming a said Bee (bad) i do not have a way forward. help apprec

Sometimes mods lock engrams behind conditions. If all the engrams on that level get unlocked, but not this one, it most likely has to do with said mod. Sometimes taming something unlocks it or you need to get the engram by killing something.
