1. Devs intentionally do not interact on this forum in such a capacity. You'd be more apt at putting suggestions forth on twitter, discord, the official forums in that descending order than here but I'd also not hold my breath on a response affecting change in a manner you desire then either.
2. These sorts of suggestions and comments existed fo 8+ years on the original Ark Survival Evolved game and across various different dinos. You cite the old tlc passes but most of those were not in the manner as to be more irl fully accurate either(and such was argued back then too)....
It is important to remember though that this is a science fiction game. The creatures are produced by what amounts to a star trek-esque replicator, including your character (people can make all manner of outlandish body models for their character that would be irl implausible after all).
That allows them to pretty much implement anything as they see fit and why progressively we saw more and more fanciful creatures as progression with the maps ensued too.
3. Your statement regarding where their focus and attention lies (and that of the 2 other primary 3rd party studios(grove street and instinct) actually with their need (yes need) focusing on implementation of things such as the packs and other intended micro transaction content to keep the company sustainable (their words in September actually for the main reason why Ascended was being done even). That right there is going to take precedent for the foreseeable future over QoL's.
Even Jeremy Steiglitz during the Extra Life charity even in December stated that the whole Wildcard team was now focused on Ascended which quickly was picked up by game news folks as meaning Ark 2 was likely shelved for the time being(if not indefinitely) and then Jeremy reiterated similar recently on twitter with the teams commitment on ASA. All of which is implying that their more fiscal accountability needs are fueling the direction of their monetization priorities.
