Anti-Mesh
I was doing a stone run and I was on a doed. Side of the snow mountain and suddenly I got killed by anti-mesh. Lost an entire tek suit over absolutely nothing because there's no item cache. Thank you SO much Wildcard. I'm SO glad I can submit a ticket to get my stuff back. I'm SO glad you TOTALLY give me the option. What a JOKE.

The anti mesh is more annoying to me than the memory leaks and inventory crashes by a long shot. Its game breaking at sometimes critical moments.

I've no idea what the response time is or how helpful they are at returning items, good luck.

I'll submit a bug report but I know beyond a doubt that it won't lead to me getting my stuff back or anything. It's just frustrating. The anti-mesh system kills more people that AREN'T MESHING than it does meshers.

Yeah, I absolutely agree. Careful doing stone around the middle of snow mountain, it'll eat tames or you.

Yeah you and/or your tame just disappear on the steepest part of the mountain with no death symbol or body bag left. You just are dead and have to respawn with nothing to go back for. So "eat" is the right term...

usually something still comes out the other end after eating, there must be a better term we could use here :D

I remember once upon a time before this patch in ASE when they said that under meshing is a hard problem and one which they want to solve. Lol.... Much like most of their solutions, it's like applying a plaster to someone who just lost their arm.

most people know this but, in single player:

if you die to meshing (or anything else really) then Alt-Tab and kill the game as quick as you can. When you reload it will be the last time you saved with all your stuff and tames back.
Even if that rolls you back a bit, it's better than this garbage of simply deleting you

Well u dont need to, the game crashes all the time even without killing the tab

Several people already reported this issue just a few days after launch, but the devs have not acknowledged or responded to any of the ones I'm in contact with.

How about making anti mesh when you're actually underground not the lazy way it is done now, its such a waste of time playing like this
CincyGuy2020 Oct 27, 2024 @ 3:12am
No wonder no ones plays this game. Just spent two hours solo grinding and I glitch through a mountain and lose everything. Wildcard is by far the worst cash grab ever and I fell right into the trap. Sad cause games have such great concept and just horrible lazy people that run them. Thanks WC. You guys rOcK!
Literally just happened to me, I ran along a plateau in volcano, like we all do and BAM... lost all my fkn gear, couple cryod dinos and this was after I rage quit yesterday for not being able to access the bag when I picked up my buried chest full of items! Game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke!

I'm noticing there are spots on the Island map that have holes where you can slide under the mesh. It usually just teleports you up. I actually managed to push a diplocaulus under a none-mineable rock while trying to tame it, it just was walking around under the surface for hours and sometimes a part would peek up briefly.

Personally I wouldn't bother playing on officials, you are bound to get a quicker response from a private/unofficial server because those people usually also play the game.
