Unable to craft custom recipe

I put food and note paper into cooking pot, and I dont see crafting recipe option anywhere. I checked server setting it allows custom recipe. Where could be the issue?

Did you hit E only or hold E?

Ty I was able to make recipe that way. In the ASE I always crafted recipes on the campfire inventory menu, after putting note and food inside "craft new recipe" button shows up. Seems they removed that here

I found I had when I pressed the 'disable auto crafting' the 'craft new recipe' button appeared. Sometimes I had to cycle the button a couple of times.

Oh they didnt remove this function it's just bugged lol. When i click disable auto i just enter recipe crafting, the disable auto button actually is the crafting new recipe button when it has notes in it

Ah thank you for the info :D The autocrafting was new for me, too, so I have not thought about this ... learning never ends in this game :D :D

Going to bump this one because nothing here seems to work for me. Neither clicking the disable autocraft nor the hold E approach. There's no way to make custom recipes that I can find.
