Vanishing Poop Solution

Disappearing Poop Solution... build a small building, and put the Phiomia on top. Grab it easily from underneath...

1. Place 2 Foundations
2. Place 4 Walls, front is open
3. Place 2 Ceilings
4. Put some temporary ramps on, and get 2 Phiomia on Ceiling.
5. Remove the Ramps, and add Stairs to front.
6. Grab the Poop from under them
7, Add Compost Bins below it, and Storage for Thatch
8. Decorate it up, mine looks great now... Stairs, Railings, Posts on all edges.

Poop used to work brilliantly, until it suddenly stopped working. Now it just falls through the ground, haven't found out a real fix for it, but the above one I posted works great.

Use a mod with a collector like K+

Still saving up for a Gardener, but they only collect Fertiliser.

Does K+ have Poop Collectors.

My collector can be built as soon as the Wood Engrams are unlocked.

dung beetle is a very easy tame early on from the easiest island cave

Cave Dino... I like the Baryonyx. Looking for a high level one, at my Swamp Base.

doodoo beetles are just as good at level 1 as they are 150 atm. Bring a bunch of large feces into the artifact of the hunter cave and you'll probably leave with a few. bug spray, ghilli and a cave clearing dino is mad midgame overkill for an early game tame. XD

Yeah... I had lots of them in Ark Survival Evolved, 3,000 Hours on that. Only 300 Hours on Ascended though... Finally got the game stable.

As Taki said you can do without most of these things for the easy cave as the dung beetles are often in the 1st main room to the left so you don't need to go far or deal with many enemies.

You can use spoiled meat to get the initial tame done if you are having trouble getting any poop at all.

A raptor is good enough as a mount as the Baryonyx is really only needed if you have issues with the water section and you don't need to go that far in.

I just fed phiomia stimberries until I had enough and went straight for a dung beetle, which now pick up feces automatically.
