Enable VR HMD

This setting is in Camera and cannot be clicked. Is this a new setting and they are bring it to VR, or am I missing something???

I am using Praydog's UEVR mod right now to play , but having full VR support would be nice.

They discontinued VR in Evolved so I guess it's the same with Ascended, MY VR still activated whenever I play a game with Evolved

I never even noticed the setting there in ascended, weird they didn't get rid of it.

You can download UE VR injector.

I just tested it with ASA - and it's AMAZING !

A few heads up:
- Start the VR injector first.
- If you have Quest 2 or 3 VR, start up your SteamLINK
- Start your game
- Select OpenXR as your VR platform
- Make sure to select VR rendering from default to the next option (I don't remember which one, but the default will make the background display in the right eye, selecting the next one will fix this issue).
- Your tools will be mapped to your VR controllers, move with the sticks, and select with the buttons. I suspect this is an UE VR default, because it really works!

What doesnt work yet is the bottom UI menu in ARK, it will show as empty slots, but you can use your keyboard to fast select (eating, weapon etc),
And the hands doesn't follow your controllers, so they're just stationary, this is irritating but I guess a fix will appear pretty soon.

Other than that - RUN and try it right away, because ASA in VR is mindblowing absolutely amazing. Stunning!

You do need a fast PC + a good Graphics card, I use 3090 which is a bit dated, but it works just fine, pretty smooth too, no difference from the regular game in 4k.

The resolution will appear a little lower, but very playable and beautiful. Nothing beats this in VR (except Alyx).
