Best Settings For Graphics & FPS?
Any suggestions on what settings are best/recommended to make the game look good but also not a huge loss on the FPS? I’m currently running on a ASUS Rog Strix 3070 GPU with medium settings mix with a bit high settings for graphics and hitting around 35-40 FPS sadly.

What is everyone else running with what GPU?

Im running a 3090ti and running mostly medium settings. I went ahead and let geforce experience configure my settings. I am getting about 60fps with some drops and the game looks pretty nice.

Wish it looked even nicer, but I cant afford a 4090 atm lol

Ah ok, yeah I’ll have to try GeForce then thanks a lot. Yeah I’ll wait for the 50 series which is set for the ending of this year I believe. I was thinking of getting a 40 series but might not. A 4070 series is minimum to run on Epic settings too.

Thank you appreciate your time bro.

If you want to sacrifice the volumetric clouds, that has been helping some with frame rate. I have been getting similar frames with high to ultra settings for some stuff with a 3090ti. Everyone gonna have varying results depending on ram, vram, and CPU as well. I think it is just a matter of waiting for better optimization and probably even more so servers. We are all in same boat there. EDIT* (Open Console and type= r.volumetricCloud 0) This resets everytime you enter the game and change 0 to 1 to turn back on if wanted.

Thank you I appreciate that. Yeah I’m sure it’s the optimization on the game that needs work on. If you look on my profile I have my specs on there. But I’m running on a i9 10900K CPU with 64gb ram. But I believe it is just the game that needs work.

Also I’m aware of the commands, I also disabled clouds, fog and ground clutter. Still hit 30-40 FPS lol.

Ill give that a try. I have been meaning to try that but just havent gotten around to it. I would gladly sacrifice clouds for richer pixel density.

Bro try it, the sky in the game looks beautiful without those fuzzy clouds. Also disable the fog, looks nicer and the FPS does increase after.

Yea, I guess we wait. Hopefully they get it together haha

OK, now I am up to 70fps with the same settings and the game looks so much nicer! Hope there is a way in the future to permanently disable those. Ill have to set up a macro on my gaming keyboard to run those commands when I launch the game.

Thanks bro!

IMO disabling clouds ruins some of the better looking graphics in the game. A hint, don't just enable medium graphics or some other level. Some settings are much more intensive than other. I can run epic on some things (antialiasing comes to mind) on what is currently a potato PC with a 1070 running at 1080p. I always turn bloom off and motion blur off since I dislike how both look. Rays I like if your computer can handle it. You can probably handle high or even epic textures depending on size of graphics memory.

Yeah they should have had the game like that, looks way better. And the macro would help as well. It does get annoying to enable the commands every time you login.

Np! Bro you’re welcome.
